Nigerian singer Omawumi Mgbele, known simply as Omawumi, and her husband, Tosin Yusuf, are celebrating 10 years of love and friendship.
Omawumi took to her Instagram page to share beautiful videos of herself, her husband, and their children to commemorate their decade-long union, filled with love and companionship. She expressed gratitude for their stress-free life together, appreciating how her husband makes everything easier, as well as his love and understanding.
She prayed that God would continue to strengthen their bond, bless their children, and keep them joyful.
“10 years of love and friendship! Wow! Happy anniversary, my love! We did it, and we will continue to do it! I am truly grateful for you; life with you is stress-free (aside from some minor squabbles here and there). You have made it so easy for me. Thank you for your love and understanding, and I also want to thank myself! My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen our bond, bless our children, and may we continue to smile and be joyful! Frukemtv recalls that Omawumi wed her heartthrob, Tosin Yusuf, in a traditional ceremony in her hometown of Warri, Delta State, in 2019. The couple shares two children, a boy and a girl.
In an interview, Omawumi mentioned that being a baby mama was her choice before her husband decided to walk her down the aisle, although she did not know what influenced his decision. She boldly stated that she was a baby mama for four years and enjoyed that phase of her life, without contemplating marriage until they were ready. To her surprise, her husband proposed, and they eventually tied the knot.
