"Actress Christabel Egbenya issues PSA: 'Keep any news for the next two weeks' ahead of Davido and Chioma's wedding."

Nollywood actress Christabel Egbenya has expressed her love and support for singer Davido and his wife, Chioma. Frukemtv previously reported that the couple would be holding their white wedding in Miami this weekend.

In anticipation of their special day, Christabel took to her Instagram to celebrate the couple. She referred to them as her "lovers" and requested that anyone with different news hold off for the next two weeks, as the focus should be on Davido and Chioma. 

"This weekend is dedicated to my two lovers, @davido and @thechefchi. If there's any other news, please save it for the next two weeks. For now, let’s celebrate only the good news. It's not always about drama and negativity on this Instagram; let’s take a moment to celebrate!"

Christabel isn’t the only celebrity who admires Davido and Chioma. 

 

Last year, during their traditional wedding, Israel DMW wrote a heartfelt note to Chioma, emphasizing that she deserves a celebration in Lagos to honor her. He praised her good character, highlighting that beauty alone cannot sustain a marriage.

 

Talent manager Ubi Franklin also penned a touching message to Davido and Chioma. He recalled how, in 2018, Davido reached out to him for help managing Chioma, and over the years, she has become like a sister to him. He expressed that knowing Chioma means loving her, as he has never encountered anyone who has had an issue with her. He added that Chioma's family has also become his family.

 

Actress Sarah Martins described Chioma as a wonderful woman who deserves nothing but the best.
