Nollywood actress and podcaster Biola Bayo has expressed her unwavering support for her senior colleague, Dupe Jayesimi. Recently, Frukemtv reported that Dupe opened up in an emotional interview with Biola about her struggles with childlessness and her failed marriage. She shared her experiences of suffering miscarriages and being mistreated by her husband. Dupe also reflected on how, despite raising many children, she did not have any of her own to celebrate her 60th birthday with. Nevertheless, she expressed hope that there would be a solution as long as she remains aligned.
On her Instagram page, Biola shared a photo of herself with Dupe, reassuring her that she is not alone on this journey and that her days of sorrow are coming to an end. The Yoruba actress declared that God has remembered Dupe and pleaded for financial support for her colleague.
“Mummy, we want you to know you’re not alone in this journey of life; you have many children already.
We want you to know that your day of sorrow is over; God has remembered you for good,
You will laugh last.
We already created a group specially to support mummy; if you’ll like to join please send a dm to @mum_rooney she’ll send you the link to join us.
Please be ready to support us financially”.
In 2023, after many years of waiting, Biola welcomed her first child in her 40s following several unsuccessful IVF attempts. She shared her painful journey toward motherhood, detailing how she experienced a failed IVF, one canceled surrogacy cycle, and three unsuccessful surrogacy attempts over the course of two years before being blessed with her son.
For those who may not be familiar, surrogacy is a process in which a woman carries and delivers a child for a couple or individual.
